MEDIUM & PLATFORM
The medium that will be used to advertise Yun Nam Hair Care is an offline interactive advertisement.
The chosen platform of this interactive advertising idea would be indoor/outdoor automated sliding doors to advertise the Yun Nam Hair Care. Automated sliding doors can easily be found at shopping mall. It is widely use in almost every shop building. Needless to say, every people had gone through it several times per day. The advertisement is aimed to get people to notice the brand repeatedly and what other platform that can be seen repeatedly in a day than an automated sliding doors. The platform will instil awareness to people about the brand repeatedly as people use go through the doors every day.
For the execution, a picture of a person will be pasted horizontally on the sliding door itself with the picture of his hair on the left side and his face on the right side. It is divided into two to give an illusion of the hair getting away from the person as the people walk by the doors to get through. There’s also a text that will be pasted also that say “Scared Of Losing your Hair?” and also there will be a logo of Yun Nam Hair Care pasted at the bottom of the automated door.

RATIONALE
The rationale for using Yun Nam Hair Care as the brand for this interactive advertisement is because although it is known worldwide and has many outlets in Malaysia, there’s a lack of advertisement created for the product besides television and radio commercial. Also, not many people are aware of the brand itself. The advertisement is also created to instil awareness to the people about the brand. This advertisement would help to increase the brand customer and profits.
An indoor/outdoor automated sliding door have been chosen as the platform to advertise the brand as every of the brand store is situated inside a shopping mall. As we all know, automated sliding doors is widely used as an entrance to a shopping mall. By doing this, not also it will attract the people first thing before going into the shopping mall, but also give some exposure to other people whose oblivious about the product as well because every people have to go into the shopping mall via the automated doors.
The daily usage of planting an advertisement on the sliding doors will result in a high impact of rate to the people who walk through it. Basically the pedestrians will see at least 4 times the advertisement per visit. This is only for the main entrance of the building. There’s also a lot of automated sliding doors via the parking lot of the malls itself so planting this advertisement at every automated doors in the mall will make people aware of the brand.
