What is business without advertising?

From what I can say from this quote is that advertising is an integral part of everyday life. It cannot be separated as advertising is all around us. Also, by doing business without one can be said impossible. Advertising is a way to promote our business, letting the people knows about the business.

Without advertising, a business will not survive as people don’t know about the business. 

It is the same as in the quote:

 “Doing business without advertising is like winking at girl in the dark.” 

You can do wink at the girl so many times but the girl will still not notice since you’re doing it in the dark. Like business, if you did not promote your business/product, nobody will know about it thus it can leads the business to bankrupt. So, in order for the business to be successful, advertising is needed.
